![]() I had a similiar problem, when the game was running it had those small lag spikes every 4 sec for maybe 1 sec long, but still enough to ruin every boss fight. Exactly the same happening here, and any other game or even software aren't showing any problem, only Nioh. I had a similar issue with a few PC games' title screens. I assumed it was because the frame rate was unlocked during those movies. Also, my fans get really loud when the pre-rendered movie cutscenes play in Hitman and Mafia 3. During the freeze up I can access other applications on my PC with no problems so I know it is only Nioh that is acting up. Something is definitely happening at the blacksmith in Nioh. When I do manage to get the game going after a full PC restart, it will eventually begin the process of a 30 second freeze during gameplay with only a few seconds of it being freed up. Almost everytime now, within the passed week or so, the problem starts as soon as I hit play and the launcher begins to freeze up for 20-30 seconds and only free's up for almost 5 seconds and I am unable to hit the launch or settings button. In addition to this, there are a number of other bug fixes included in this patch as seen below. The new patch notes mention the fix that is related to the game dropping frame rate when running the graphics effects on high.
